Program Description

Surgery concerns the operative treatment of disease and injury: anatomy and pathology, operative technique, decision-making about when to intervene, and care of patients before and after an operation. Learning is closely tied to clinical settings and simulation. Graduates work in clinical practice, surgical training pathways, research, education and medical technology.
