Program Description

Biomechanics applies the mechanics of forces and motion to living bodies, analysing how bones, muscles and tissues load and move, and how gait, technique and equipment affect them. Motion capture, force measurement and modelling are typical tools. Graduates often work in sport, rehabilitation, ergonomics, medical device design and research.
