Program Description

Botany is the science of plants — how they grow, reproduce, evolve and interact with their surroundings, from cell biology to whole ecosystems. The subject moves between laboratory analysis, plant identification and the study of plants in their habitats. Graduates often work in conservation, agriculture and horticulture, plant breeding, environmental consultancy, botanical collections or research.
