Program Description

Ecosystem ecology examines how energy and nutrients move through whole systems such as forests, wetlands and oceans, and how organisms, soil, water and climate interact. Fieldwork and modelling are central to measuring these flows. Graduates often work in conservation, environmental monitoring, land and water management, or academic research.
