Program Description

Social anthropology asks how people organise their lives together — kinship, ritual, exchange, authority and belief — and takes the ordinary detail of daily life seriously. Ethnographic fieldwork and comparison across societies are central. Graduates often work in research, development, humanitarian organisations, policy, user research and journalism.
