Program Description

Emergency medicine is the branch of clinical practice concerned with acute illness and injury: rapid assessment, resuscitation, stabilisation and decisions made under time pressure. Study spans trauma, cardiac and respiratory emergencies, paediatrics and toxicology. Graduates often work in emergency departments, pre-hospital and critical care settings, and teaching.
