Program Description

An area-studies field that examines societies, histories and cultures beyond a single national frame, comparing how different peoples organise politics, economies and everyday life. Students work with texts, archives, media and often another language. Graduates commonly enter research, policy analysis, media, education, cultural work and international organisations.
