MA Criminal Justice and Human Security

Program Description

Criminal justice looks at how societies define crime and respond to it, covering policing, courts, sentencing, corrections and the debates about fairness running through all of them. It draws on law, sociology and policy analysis. Graduates often move into law enforcement, probation and youth services, policy research, security or further legal study.
