Program Description

Biblical studies approaches the texts of the Bible as literature and as historical documents, examining their languages, composition, context and the long traditions of interpretation around them. Close reading, translation and historical argument are the main tools. Graduates often move into religious education, community and faith organisations, teaching, publishing or further research.
