Program Description

Molecular engineering designs matter from the bottom up, building molecules and assemblies with properties chosen in advance — for energy storage, medicine, sensing or new materials. Chemistry, physics, biology and engineering are used side by side. Graduates often work in materials, pharmaceuticals, energy, semiconductors and research laboratories.
