Program Description

Meteorology explains how the atmosphere behaves: why weather systems form, how storms develop and how conditions can be observed, measured and forecast. Students learn atmospheric physics, dynamics and numerical modelling, and how to interpret data from satellites, radar and ground stations. Graduates often work in forecasting, aviation, energy, agriculture or climate research.
