Program Description

Designing for the stage means shaping the physical world a performance happens in — sets, props, spatial arrangement, colour, and the way light and bodies move through it. Sketching, model-making, technical drawing and close collaboration with directors are central. Designers work in theatre, opera, dance, live events and screen production.
