Program Description

Concerned with how religion is taught, this field covers lesson design, age-appropriate teaching methods, classroom discussion of belief, and handling difference and sensitivity among learners. Educational theory is applied to religious content. Graduates often work in schools, faith communities, curriculum development, youth work and teacher training.
