Program Description

Composition studies looks at how people learn to write and how writing works on its readers. It draws on rhetoric, literacy research and the teaching of writing, covering argument, style, genre, revision and composing for print and digital media. Graduates often work in teaching, editing, writing support, communications or instructional design.
