Program Description

School social work concerns supporting pupils whose learning is affected by family difficulty, poverty, mental health, bullying or disability. Training covers assessment, counselling skills, safeguarding, and working with teachers, families and outside services. Graduates often work in schools, education authorities, child welfare services and community programmes.
