Program Description

Biblical Hebrew is the study of the ancient language in which much of the Hebrew scriptures was written: its grammar, vocabulary, poetry, and the manuscripts that preserve it. Learning is slow and textual, built on translation and close reading. Graduates often continue into theology, linguistics, teaching, translation, archives, and academic research.
