BSc (Hons) Marine Biology

Program Description

Marine biology studies life in the sea and along coasts, from microscopic plankton to large predators, and the ecosystems that connect them. Students learn organism biology, ecology, sampling and laboratory methods, and the pressures that human activity places on marine environments. Graduates work in conservation, fisheries, aquaculture, aquaria, environmental consultancy and research.
