Program Description

Development economics asks why some economies grow and others stall, and what can be done about poverty, inequality and access to health, education and work. Students combine economic theory with statistical evidence, evaluation methods and close attention to institutions. Graduates often work in policy analysis, international organisations, research institutes, government or development consultancy.
