BS Respiratory Therapy

Program Description

Respiratory therapy centres on breathing: how the lungs work, what goes wrong in asthma, chronic lung disease or critical illness, and how oxygen, ventilators and airway care support patients. Training is clinical and hands-on, with close attention to assessment and monitoring. Graduates often work in hospital wards, intensive care, emergency services or home care.
