Mechanical engineering deals with machines and moving systems: how forces, materials, heat and fluids behave, and how to design and manufacture things that work reliably. Modelling, simulation and laboratory testing support the design process. Graduates often work in manufacturing, automotive and aerospace sectors, energy, robotics, and product design or testing.
