Program Description

Polymer engineering deals with plastics, rubbers, fibres and composites: how their molecular structure gives rise to properties, and how they are processed into useful products. Students study materials chemistry, mechanics, processing methods and testing. Graduates often work in manufacturing, product development, packaging, automotive and medical device industries, or in materials research.
