Program Description

At the scale of the cell, life is a system of membranes, organelles, signals and division. Cell biology studies those processes and how they fail in disease, with laboratory technique and microscopy as important as theory. Graduates often work in biomedical and pharmaceutical research, diagnostics, biotechnology or laboratory science.
