Program Description

Biotechnology uses living systems — cells, enzymes, microbes — as tools to make useful things, from medicines and vaccines to industrial enzymes and improved crops. Laboratory technique, molecular biology and bioprocessing sit at its core, along with questions of safety and ethics. Graduates often work in pharmaceutical and agricultural research, production and quality laboratories.
