Program Description

Pedagogy is the study of teaching itself: how people learn, how lessons are designed and sequenced, and how assessment, motivation and classroom relationships affect understanding. Students examine learning theory, curriculum and educational research. Graduates often go into teaching, curriculum and materials development, training roles, or research on education.
