Program Description

Economic development studies why some economies grow while others stall, and what raises living standards: investment, institutions, trade, health, education and inequality. Students combine economic analysis with evidence from programmes and policies in lower- and middle-income settings. Graduates often work in development agencies, government, research institutes and non-profits.
