Program Description

This field deals with the stewardship of water, soils, forests, fisheries, rangelands and minerals, weighing productive use against long-term conservation. Students combine ecology and resource economics with policy, law, monitoring methods and negotiation among competing users. Graduates work in environmental agencies, conservation organisations, consultancies, land and water management and rural development.
