Program Description

Horticulture is the science and practice of growing plants for food, medicine, amenity and ornament. Study covers plant biology, soils and nutrition, propagation, pests and diseases, protected cropping and the design and care of planted spaces, with substantial hands-on work. Graduates often work in crop production, nurseries, plant breeding, gardens and technical advisory roles.
