This field studies how information is gathered, verified, analysed and communicated to support security and policy decisions. Attention goes to sources and their limits, analytic reasoning, cognitive bias, secrecy and ethics, along with clear written and spoken assessment. Graduates frequently work in analysis roles, risk and threat consulting, corporate security and policy research.
