Program Description

Operations research uses mathematical modelling, statistics and algorithms to make better decisions about complex operations: scheduling, routing, inventory, capacity and the allocation of resources. Students learn optimisation, simulation and probability, and how to turn a messy real problem into a solvable model. Graduates often work in logistics, analytics, consulting and finance.
