Program Description

Agricultural engineering applies engineering to food production: machinery, irrigation and drainage, soil and water management, storage, and the systems that move crops from field to processing. Students combine mechanical and environmental principles with an understanding of biology. Graduates often work in machinery, agribusiness, water management, rural infrastructure and research.
