Program Description

Oceanography studies the sea as a physical, chemical, biological and geological system — currents and tides, marine life, seafloor structure, and the ocean's role in climate. Fieldwork, instruments, sampling and computer modelling are all part of the training. Graduates often work in marine research, environmental consultancy, coastal management or data analysis.
