Program Description

Painting is a studio discipline built on sustained practice — colour, composition, surface, drawing and the handling of materials — developed through projects and regular critique. Students also study how painting has changed across periods and cultures. Graduates often keep a studio practice, teach, or work in galleries, illustration and the arts.
