Program Description

Criminology investigates why crime happens, how societies define and respond to it, and what policing, courts, punishment and prevention actually achieve. It draws on sociology, psychology, law and statistics. Graduates often work in criminal justice agencies, community and youth services, research and policy roles, security and the voluntary sector.
