Program Description

Developmental biology asks how a fertilised cell becomes a whole organism: how cells divide, specialise, move and organise into tissues and organs, and what happens when that process goes wrong. Laboratory work centres on genetics, imaging and model organisms. Graduates often enter biomedical research, biotechnology, clinical science and teaching.
