Program Description

This field asks how scientific knowledge and technologies are actually produced, contested and used, and how they reshape society in turn. Students examine expertise and controversy, ethics, risk, innovation and regulation, drawing on history, sociology and philosophy. Graduates work in science and technology policy, research, journalism, consultancy, regulation and technology companies.
