Program Description

Disability studies examines disability as a social and political experience as much as a medical one, looking at barriers, rights, representation and the design of services and spaces. Students engage with law, history, ethics and the voices of disabled people themselves. Graduates often work in advocacy, policy, education, social care and accessibility roles.
