Program Description

Immunology studies the body's defence system: how it recognises threats, remembers them, and sometimes turns against the body itself in allergy and autoimmune disease. The work is experimental, linking molecular detail to whole-organism response, and underpins vaccines and modern therapies. Graduates often work in biomedical research, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, clinical laboratories or public health.
