Program Description

Applied mathematics uses mathematical tools to describe and solve problems drawn from the physical, biological, economic and engineering worlds. Differential equations, modelling, numerical methods and computation are the everyday materials. Graduates often work in modelling and simulation, data analysis, finance, engineering, software and research.
