Program Description

Pharmacology asks how drugs act on living systems — at the level of molecules, cells and whole organisms — and why effects, side effects and doses differ between people. Students learn physiology, biochemistry, experimental design and how compounds are tested. Graduates often work in pharmaceutical research, clinical trials, regulation, biotechnology and academia.
