Program Description

Arts and humanities is a broad grouping covering literature, history, philosophy, languages and the arts — the study of how people have made meaning and expressed it. What binds it together is reading closely, weighing evidence and arguing well in writing. Graduates often move into media, education, publishing, culture, public administration and communication roles.
