Program Description

Community organizing is the practice of helping people act together on shared problems: building relationships, identifying issues, developing local leadership and campaigning for change. Study combines social theory and the analysis of power with practical skills in facilitation, negotiation and campaign strategy. Graduates often work in community organisations, advocacy groups, unions, local government and social programmes.
