Program Description

Bioethics addresses the moral questions raised by medicine and the life sciences: consent, confidentiality, genetic technology, reproduction, end-of-life care, research on people and animals, and how scarce health resources are shared. Philosophy meets law, policy and clinical reality. Graduates often work in healthcare governance, policy, law, research ethics and teaching.
