Program Description

Telecommunications engineering designs the systems that carry information over distance: signals, antennas, optical fibre, wireless networks and the protocols that hold them together. Students work with signal processing, electromagnetics, network architecture and reliability under real conditions. Graduates often join network operators, equipment makers, satellite and broadcast services, or infrastructure planning and research.
