Program Description

Gender Studies examines how ideas about gender shape law, work, family life, media and power. Students read social theory, history and cultural criticism, and learn to analyse evidence about inequality. Graduates often move into policy, research, advocacy, human resources, journalism, education and the non-profit sector.
