Program Description

Sports biomechanics applies the mechanics of forces and motion to the moving human body, analysing how athletes run, jump, throw and lift. Students use motion capture, force measurement and modelling to understand technique, efficiency and injury risk. Graduates often work in performance analysis, coaching support, equipment development or rehabilitation research.
