Program Description

Language sits at the centre of this field, taught alongside literature, history, philosophy, politics and contemporary society. Students build reading and speaking ability while learning to interpret primary sources and current debates in their cultural context. Graduates often work in translation, business, journalism, diplomacy, research, teaching and international organisations.
