The New York Institute of Technology was founded as a private not-for-profit university in New York in 1955. Over 90 technology-infused undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses are available to enrich a student’s future and provide a future in fields such as STEM and architecture. More than 8,000 overseas students from around 90 countries study at the New York Institute of Technology. Its international reputation stands strong on its Old Westbury, New York campus, with the Office of International Education offering both academic and personal support to all students during their studies. NYIT has a strong reputation in technological fields. In order to help students to stand at the forefront of technological innovation, the university has invested in installing the most cutting edge materials in discipline-specific laboratories. Student Life The New York campus offers lots of recreational activity to students at NYIT. The famous Central Park is situated close by, with tourist attractions such as the Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle also just a subway ride away.
